Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 Medium size apple
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/8 cup Ground cinnamon
  • Vegetable Oil for frying
  • Vanilla Caramel Sauce - homemade or any bought from a store

Instructions

  1. First of all, take a peeler and remove the skin of all apples. Slice the apples into pieces very more or less the same sizes of fries size. Keep the apple shapes about the same size to ensure that they fry evenly.

  2. In a bowl take cornstarch and toss the sliced apples in cornstarch until they well coated.

  3. In a separate bowl, take ground cinnamon and sugar, mix them nicely.

  4. Take small batches of apple pieces and fry them in Vegetable Oil for 2 to 3 minutes until they turn into very light golden color. After fried take out the apple fries with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels to soak up excess oil. Sprinkle immediately liberally with cinnamon sugar mixture while they are hot.

  5. Keep frying in small batches of apple pieces until all the apples are cooked.
